This ISO 11784/11785 microchip is 2.12mm by 12mm in size and is suitable for larger sized animals from large dogs, to sheep, cattle, horses and Game including Buffalo.
Each microchip is ICAR certified.
ICAR, or the International Committee for Animal Recording, is a global organization that promotes the use of microchips for animal identification and traceability. One of the ways that ICAR promotes the use of microchips is by establishing standards for microchip manufacturers and suppliers, and by certifying microchips that meet these standards.
ICAR-certified microchips are designed to meet high quality and performance standards, and are intended to be compatible with microchip scanners used by veterinarians and animal welfare organizations around the world. By using ICAR-certified microchips, you can be assured that you are using a high-quality product that has been tested and certified to meet international standards.
Each microchip has a Parylene coating - an anti-migration treatment / coating that stabilizes the position of the microchip under the animal’s skin. A Rfid microchip is NOT a GPS tracking device.
Microchips are the only form of permanent animal identification as you implant/inject it under the skin. Each microchip comes in a sterile package with its own disposable applicator.
Do not use products that are contaminated or fell on the ground.
You need a Tranceiver/scanner to be able to read the transponder/microchip that is pre programmed with a world wide unique Icar certified number.
